Gali Sector

On the Abkhaz side, in the Gali sector, there are 56 UNMOs from 24 nationalities.  A small headquarters staff controls daily operations, collates the information gathered, and covers logistics and personnel matters.

Five teams conduct daily patrols throughout the Gali area of responsibility, which spans more than 1500 square kilometres. Gali is also the base of the Military Public Information Office and the Fact Finding Team.
